Learning Objectives

This foundation course in fashion design provides a strong starting point for anyone entering the field. Students learn the basics of design, visual communication, and textile understanding, helping them build a clear creative base. Through hands-on training in sewing, pattern making, and illustration, students begin turning their ideas into actual designs. Surface ornamentation techniques are also introduced, allowing them to add detail and uniqueness to their work.

The Fashion Studio module gives practical exposure to designing for the mid-segment market, helping students understand how fashion works in a real-world context. By the end of the course, students develop the skills and confidence needed to move into advanced learning or begin their journey in the fashion industry.
