Deputy General Manager (DGM) Shoppers Stop
Year : 2013
I am a Visual Merchandising and Retail Design professional with over 16 years of experience in creating immersive retail experiences for leading fashion and lifestyle brands. My journey began at INIFD Siliguri, where I graduated in 2013, and since then I have been fortunate to work with some of India’s most recognized retail brands.
Today, I serve as the Deputy General Manager (DGM) Creative Head, Visual Merchandising at Shoppers Stop Ltd., leading the creative and visual merchandising strategy across more than 120 stores nationwide. I enjoy blending design, storytelling, culture, and technology to create meaningful customer experiences that strengthen both brand identity and business performance.
Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to conceptualize award-winning retail installations, develop experiential campaigns, and mentor creative teams. I believe that great design is not just about aesthetics; it is about creating emotional connections with people.
As an INIFD alumnus, I remain grateful for the strong creative foundation that shaped my career and continue to explore new ways of pushing the boundaries of retail design and visual storytelling.
